My Artistic Passion
I'm Rayne, founder of Apple Creek Primitives. A coffee enthusiast, animal lover/rescuer and amateur photographer. Arts and crafts have always been one of my passions. I enjoy challenging the boundaries between art and nature, old and new. Awaking emotions that connect us all, transforming everyday moments and items into stories. Recycling items that are antiquated or discarded including Jars, cans, teabags and lightbulbs. Exploring the intersection of memory and imagination, encouraging viewers to see the familiar in new ways. (and help save the planet!)
So, I began blending found and recycled objects, a bit of digital, some paint, a little creativity and the occasional "Aha" moment (usually after my third cup of coffee) to create things reminiscent of simpler times. Things that remind us life doesn't need to be complicated to be beautiful - It's about telling your story in a way that connects and inspires. This is my story.
